Specifications
The Lactoscan SP analyzer can be factory calibrated with three types of milk on request. Otherwise, the standard configuration applies:
- Cow milk (standard conf.)
- Sheep milk (standard conf.)
- UHT milk (standard conf.)
- Goat milk
- Buffalo milk
- Camel milk
- Cream/Liquid Cream
- Serum
- Ice cream mixes
- Recovered milk
- Other / Pasteurized milk
* Equipment with cream measurement up to 45% must have Cream as one of the three calibrations to choose from

9 measuring parameters:
- Fat: 0.01-25% ± 0.1%
- Solids-non-fat (SNF): 3-15% ± 0.15%
- Density: 1015-1040 Kg/m3 ± 0.3 Kg/m3
- Protein: 2-7 % ± 0.15%
- Lactose: 0.01-6% ± 0.2%
- Added water: 0-70% ± 3%
- Temperature: 1-40ºC ± 1ºC
- Freezing point: -0.4 to 0.7 ºC ± 0.001ºC
- Salts: 0.4-1.5% ± 0.05%
