The Nahita Blue model 651 incubator is a highly versatile piece of laboratory equipment, particularly useful in microbiology, biotechnology, biochemistry and environmental sciences. It combines precise temperature control with constant agitation, allowing cell or microbial cultures to be worked on under optimal conditions. Refrigeration is useful, for example, when it is necessary to keep the culture medium and cells on hold, in studies of the growth of certain species of algae or cyanobacteria that require low temperatures, in enzymatic reactions that require the temperature to be kept below 25ºC, or in cultures that must be kept below 20ºC to prevent degradation or unwanted growth.
