Near perfect color reproduction with unique red balance control
The light is optimized to enhance visualization of red tissue and has our unique red balance control, which allows surgeons to "tune" the red content to match their own vision. Each individual's eyes have different levels of red perception and this is shown to deteriorate as we age. Our exclusive Red Balance Control allows surgeons to fine-tune the amount of red light without affecting the balance of other colors.

fat beam technology
Fat Beam provides wide, evenly illuminated fields of light, offering greater flexibility in light positioning compared to a small, narrow spot that must be very precisely positioned. As a result, the lights do not have to move as much as they can fully illuminate the entire surgical area and even small movements by the patient will not take them out of the illuminated area. Large wound sites are fully illuminated.

Unique 'Comfort Halo'
The comfort halo is designed to reduce surgeon eye strain that can result from their central vision being dominated by very bright light while their peripheral vision is in low light conditions. A possible contrast ratio of 160,000:1,000 Lux is quite extreme.
There are also benefits during endoscopic procedures during which general lighting is typically off, and the halo provides soft, low-level lighting around the patient for the team to perform non-surgical tasks.

Unique design to minimize infections
Lamp head sealed to IP 54 (ingress protection rating), providing protection against ingress of liquids and particles. This reduces the entry of contaminants, including cleaning solutions, into the light head housing.
No Exposed Fasteners to Minimize Contamination Points Exposed screw heads and similar fasteners are nearly impossible to clean effectively if they become contaminated (eg blood spatters), so we've eliminated them all from the light head.
Silver ion antimicrobial technology additive is molded into the plastic parts of the light head and incorporated into the light head paint.
