A simple and economical device for demonstrating the effect of atmospheric pressure.
The instrument consists of two plastic hemispheres of about 100 mm diameter, both with a handle at their top. One of them presents a plastic stopcock for pumping out air and releasing vacuum and a rubber O-ring seal inside.
The lightweight plastic construction makes them easy to handle and use.
